About
My name is Jacquelyn Demshick.
Currently working as a freelance designer, I design logos, branding, websites, and mobile applications for various companies using design thinking.
As a lifelong learner, I am constantly continuing my education. As a Climatebase Fellow, I am learning more about the climate space while collaborating with fellows on capstone projects and leading the Design & Creativity in Climate group. I'm also working on Coursera's Google UX Design Certificate.
I graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a dual bachelor's degree in Design, Innovation, & Society and Biomedical Engineering. During my time there, I was the project lead for Engineers for a Sustainable World's Haiti project, where I led a team in designing a portable solar charging station for the village of Rantlamouie, Haiti.
I find immense satisfaction in crafting user experiences that not only delight but also empower people and contribute to a healthier planet. I am looking for a job where I can make a difference using the human-centered design skills I developed in college and continue to practice today.
